41BBY - 19BBY. anakin skywalker, born a slave on tatooine only to be freed at the age of nine by winning a podrace. he joins two jedi and a queen's handmaiden on a mission of peace and shortly after joins the jedi order to become a padawan. he trained under obi-wan kenobi for about ten years before becoming a jedi knight and a general in the clone wars while gaining his own padawan.
19BBY - FORWARD. he once was close to sheev palpatine, however, he was enlightened by his master that he is not to be trusted. however, that trust had seeped down into his padawan. the chancellor latched onto ahsoka tano, seeing her potential, daring to manipulate her into his biddings.soon it was found out that the chancellor was in fact the sith lord and his padawan had fallen into the dark side underneath palpatine's teachings. the jedi order and the republic had become enemies of the new empire. after surviving order 66, anakin and padme fled to hiding on tatooine, soon bringing luke and leia into the universe.
19BBY - FORWARD. as sheev palpatine's true identity was revealed to anakin, he promptly informed master windu. and for once he listened directly to his orders. he stayed at the temple while the three council members handled the chancellor. he came clean with the council about his relationship with padme despite his nightmares of her dying ended. his position on the council was suspended temporarily as they deliberated anakin's place in the order for disobeying one of their most prominant rules.despite the disobedience, anakin was not expelled. he was still the chosen one and despite it not being unanimous, he was kept within the order. over time, he would return to the council. he and padme will openly raise luke and leia, training both of them to become jedi.
4ABY - FORWARD. padme was right ; there was still good in him. after losing his wife and assuming his unborn children, that good was buried deep down within. after many years, it took but one person to dig that goodness back out β luke skywalker. the empire was overthrown and the young skywalker was able to get his father out alive. although still reliant on a suit to function, anakin skywalker was alive again, working to restore the republic and the jedi order.
19BBY - 4ABY. anakin is gone. vader is what remains. he is the face of the empire yet only second in command. he shows no mercy in leading the empire's spread over the galaxy.
19BBY - FORWARD. palpatine had paved his way to his own death. vaderβs plan to overthrow the emperor and take his place was set forth and followed through successfully, taking up the mantle himself. he would continue to do what he thought was best for the galaxy ; dictatorship.
4ABY - FORWARD. both darth vader and anakin skywalker died on the second death star. the only difference was that vader was gone for good. anakin, on the other hand, had learned an alternate to immortality just as qui-gon had and his master before him. he sticks around to offer guidance but he wouldn't be anakin if he also didn't stick around just because he felt like it.
